Justin initially introduced Mindel House to the client while working at his previous firm, and after establishing Casabel he was reappointed to advise the client in an advisory capacity to negotiate the lease surrender with a tenant who had many years remaining in the premises and was preventing future development.

After months of negotiation, a good deal was agreed and the legals concluded quickly. The tenant vacated enabling the Landlord to progress their development plans.

During that time, Justin had also secured a position for the client to acquire the neighbouring building on Bloom Street, creating a combined development site for high quality large apartments in an exception location.

The product of 3 years work will be 80 high quality apartments along with a sky-garden offering fabulous views of the city.
